Gavin Williamson, Secretary of State for Education, meets Royal Mail B2B Sales Apprentices
The Education Secretary Gavin Williamson, who also has responsibility for Apprenticeships and Skills, recently met Sales apprentices in Leeds and underlined the vital role of further education and skills in employment
Williamson met Sales apprentices undertaking the B2B level 6 degree apprenticeship in professional sales at the Royal Mail’s Mail Sales Centre in Leeds, who discussed their experience on the programme, their degree and workplace activity.
The Sales apprentices are currently undertaking a 3 year degree level programme of learning and workplace practice through Middlesex University and the Consalia Sales Business School which will result in achievement of a BSc in Professional Sales.
While there Williamson also had the opportunity to meet Royal Mail sales leaders who discussed the importance of the sales apprentice programme and how they play a critical role in supporting Royal Mail customers to enable UK businesses prosperity.
